Philippians 4:6-9


In light of current events and what is going on in Boston today (and also the tragic events of West Texas), I just wanted to share a verse with you.  

Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things. Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me—put it into practice. And the God of peace will be with you.
We need to take a moment to pray for the people affected by the recent events in both Boston and West Texas.  It is hard to fathom what the people in those areas are going through at this time.  We can only lift up our prayers that God helps them make it through these tough times and come out on the other side.  Let us all come together as a nation and support these people in their hard times.  Pray for Boston, pray for West Texas and God bless America.
