Thursday Things

I am a loser. I don't have a post set to go up today.

And while I hate to make excuses, I do actually have one...

Y'all...I have a problem.  I am OBSESSED!  

I'm half way through season five and I am totally in love.

There are 7 seasons on Netflix and the most recent (8th) is on Hulu.  So I imagine I'll be watching for a while longer.  The 9th season is set to air in the fall.  It's going to be seriously upsetting when I have to go from watching like 5 episodes a day to one a week, but hopefully I will survive.

My husband and I have been watching the 5th season of True Blood and we've got like 3 episodes left.  Once we're done with that we're gonna watch Supernatural because I know he'll like it (being all demons and zombies and supernatural type things).  I'm not even caught up and I'm already excited about re-watching them all.  

I'm telling you....I have a problem.

But how can you not love this...

Thursday Things

I always like discovering new things.  And it's always great when you can share those discoveries with other people.  So...I decided I'd start a weekly post of the things I've discovered during the past week.  This list could include anything from a movie I saw to a funny picture on the Internet.  Maybe I'll find something here that you like.

Yay for new shoes! My mom ordered these for me for my birthday and they family came in this week.  I am in love with them.  I finally got a chance to run with them on Tuesday night and they are so much better than my old shoes.  So light and springy.  Love them.  They're Nike Dual Fusions and I got them from JCPenney (which is where I borrowed this image from.)

I always like discovering new things.  And it's always great when you can share those discoveries with other people.  So...I decided I'd start a weekly post of the things I've discovered during the past week.  This list could include anything from a movie I saw to a funny picture on the Internet.  Maybe I'll find something here that you like.

I am in LOVE with this owl.  I found it at Target and my mom got it for me for my birthday.  It is a ceramic outdoor sculpture, but it has taken up residence on a small cabinet in our entry way.  I've been looking for some fun little colorful items to brighten up our home and this was a perfect fit!

Saw this on tumblr with the caption "Wednesday."  I literally LOL'd.

Last weekend I mentioned my discovery of Supernatural, well, I must now admit that I have a full-fledged crush on Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles.  I can't believe I have been missing out on these hotties for so long.

And, while I'm still on this Supernatural kick.  I found this on Etsy.  It's from Season 1, Episode 11 - Scarecrow, which I just watched this week.  It was one of the MANY lines in the show that had me cracking up.  If you're a superfan and are interested in this it's only $2.75.

I was browsing around Etsy yesterday and stumbled across this Hunger Games Bracelet by wanglovemade.  I actually really, really like this.  I love the mockingjay pin and the colors the creator chose for the bracelet portion.  And, get this...it's only $1.99.

Seriously...how have I not watched this show from the beginning?  It is right up my ally.  First of all, the main characters are extremely good looking.  Second, the story line is really cool.  (They're brothers following in their father's footsteps as "hunters" of all things supernatural.)  Lastly, this show is freaking hysterical.  As serious and intense as the show is, I frequently find myself laughing out loud at it.  The one-liners and facial expressions of the brothers seriously crack me up.

Earlier today someone posted a video on Facebook and, from that video, I discovered the website I Love Local Commercials.  Ok, so you may or may not have ever seen the commercial for the Red House (a furniture store in North Carolina).  Well, let me assure you that it borders on hilarious and has a catchy little tune to go along with it.  Well, apparently the I Love Local Commercials guys go around to local small business and help them make commercials.  Well, the commercial I saw today was for a business that sells used mobile homes.  I am not even joking, I laughed out loud when I saw it.  I'm posting both the Red House commercial and the Cullman Liquidation commercials below so you guys can enjoy them too.

If you have a child, you have got to check out Message With A Bottle.  I discovered it a while back, but earlier this week I was browsing through some of his old stuff stumbled upon this gem from sometime last year.  I  got a big kick out of it since, just yesterday, I was singing Afro Circus with my 2 year old.  Funny stuff....seriously funny stuff...
